Sometimes Tony and I get an itch for hiking. Needless to say, we miss the mountains of NC, but we are able to find some acceptable substitutes that are within a short drive of our home. One of these places is the Bernheim Forest. So we had a family day… complete with a lunch at White Castle in Shepherdsville. Yum. Sort of.
So thankful that we are able to do fun little family things like this sometimes! They seem to be rare while Tony is in school. Can you see the turtles in the pond?
A few notes: Joel has a ton of band aids covering up his mosquito bites. They love him and eat him up, so we try to cover the bites a little to prevent scratching. Eliah dresses herself. She’s lovely! And fun!
