An Open Look into the Sutton Family's Decision to Adopt--Question 2

2). Why adopt? Isn't it expensive?

Yes, it is. But GOD, through several different means, has provided in a BIG way! I'll share some of them here.

-We were able to make a small profit when we sold our house in Franklin, NC.

-We also sold our motorcycle.
-Our church in Kentucky had a bake sale for us and raised just over $800.

-Our church in Kentucky had a car wash for us and raised just over $400.

-Our friends donated 100 amazingly awesome t-shirts that we sold and made around $2,000.
-We sold Qdoba coupons and made about $500.

- A tupperware sale raised $150.

- A jewelery sale raised $150.

- Our tax refunds from last year was about $4,000.

-Random donations from family and friends for no reason other than supporting us and adoption total about $2,200.

Thanks to the Lord's provision in these ways, the only thing we have looming is the expense of our next trip--and most of that is covered! We have been amazed and our faith strengthened by seeing God provide! The expense was the most daunting thing when we started this process, but has proved to be one of the smallest worries! Praise the LORD!
